Joining
Upon signing up, I must ask that you modify your display name. I know, maybe 1337cookies is a cool display name, but honestly… you’re not allowed to roleplay with it. So, make life easy for everyone and change your display name to your character’s alias… not their first name and last name, but their alias… like Nate River’s got Near. His display name wouldn’t be Nate River, but Near.
For face claims, you must use anime/manga images. And please make sure it isn’t taken yet. A face claim list is currently being considered, but in the meantime I don’t want triplets or twins running around (though I suspect we may have a pair of twins…)
No more than one character to one account.
General Conduct
Please conduct yourself in a mature, overall responsible manner. No one wants to communicate with someone who displays a lack of social skills and decency. Everyone here should be treated fairly. Currently we are considered to be a friendly forum, and we’re not going to let anyone change that.
Please post in the Quit/Away board if you are going to be away for a length of time, that way you do not risk account deletion and people won’t get frustrated with you. The admin has decided that she doesn’t feel like sending people warning emails all the time.
Characters + Canons
Upon reserving a canon, you must change your display name to the name of that canon, regardless of whether or not you’re going to actually be given that character.
Please keep canons in-character during roleplay. If you are deemed to out-of-character you will lose the privilege of portraying them. A guide and archive happen to be available to you should you need a reference of some sort.
If your application is not accepted do not complain. Complaining will not change anyone’s opinion and is a waste of your time.
Keep each of your characters active, because if you do not you run the risk of having that account deleted. It doesn’t matter if you logged on just the other day with another account.
The admin reserves the right to limit the amount of people specializing in one area. - No more computer specialists will be accepted at this time (includes hacking, programming, and building) –
And please, no weapons or drugs... use common sense. These are genius children. To discuss the possibility of having weapons, please PM the admin, though you are likely to be turned down. And there is no possibility of you being allowed samurai swords and whatnot.
Roleplaying
This is a semi-literate and up roleplay, meaning that you should include proper grammar and spelling in your posts. If you consistently brutalize the English language, you may be asked to leave the site altogether. Try using Microsoft Word or some other similar program to write up your posts, especially if you have problems with punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
You are required to post 125 words at the very minimum. If this is too hard for you and you don’t want to put in some extra effort, you are not welcome here.
No power-playing or god-moding. If you don’t know what this is, then that’s rather unfortunate but you’re not welcome here, either.
Character cloning is allowed to some degree. Members will be limited to three threads each, and may join others as they complete threads. Anyone currently involved in three or more is not allowed to join others until their number diminishes to two.
Do not randomly jump into well-established threads. There is a little something called RPer etiquette that should be taken note of. If you want to enter an rp that is a few replies in, ask ALL members of that thread if you can join. If you don't it is very rude and your reply will be deleted if the staff realizes you did not ask.
Mild cursing is allowed. This roleplay is rated PG-13
Side Notes
No Death Notes will be permitted. This rp takes place before Kira... end of story.
Only the canons related to Wammy's House are available to roleplay.
